Admire the Beiteddine Palace and explore Deir el Qamar, a charming traditional village in the heart of the Lebanese mountains!

  1. Tour of Beiteddine and its Palace

You'll be picked up from your hotel on your way to Beiteddine. You will then visit the magnificent Beiteddine Palace. Its arcades, galleries and rooms decorated by various international artists make this monument an archetype of Middle Eastern architecture. You will also explore small museums exhibiting national costumes, jewellery, weapons from the era and Byzantine mosaics.

  1. Lunch & Tour of the Christian Village of Deir el Qamar

You will then take a pleasant break for lunch in a local restaurant where you can sample delicious mezze (an assortment of small Lebanese dishes) and a glass of Arak (a traditional beverage). Your day will continue with a tour of the Christian village of Deir el Qamar, formerly the capital of Mount Lebanon. You can explore its historic centre, souks (markets), museums and religious monuments.

You will be dropped off at your hotel at the end of the excursion.

  • Time and tour departure point (choose when booking):
  1. 12:00am if you go directly to the departure point in central Beirut 
  2. 11:15am if you would like to be picked up from your hotel (free for hotels in Beirut)
  • To take part in this activity, simply present your voucher to the service provider on the day
  • Children under the age of 4 can participate in this activity free of charge and share the seat with a parent
  • We recommend that you bring sunscreen, a hat and a bottle of water for this tour
