Located in St. Paul's Bay on the island's north coast, Malta National Aquarium is best known for its iconic starfish shape spanning 20,000 metres. It will offer you the opportunity to explore underwater ecosystems through a variety of exhibits and themed areas.
The aquarium is home to over 175 different species spread across 41 tanks. You'll find reptiles, insects and amphibians and Mediterranean fish, including species commonly found in Maltese waters.
In the themed exhibition areas you'll discover the different marine habitats as well as some of Malta's hidden treasures. One of the highlights of the aquarium is its panoramic underwater tunnel offering a view of the sea creatures swimming above and around you.
You will have the opportunity to participate in interactive activitiessuch as fish feeding, educational workshops on marine conservation and presentations on the behaviours of sea creatures.
You can enjoy lunch in the aquarium's restaurant, Nave Bistro (not included), which serves a wide variety of Mediterranean dishes, including pizzas, pastas, grills and salads. You'll also have the chance to take a trip to the Reef Giftshop.
