Ideally located in Grand Central near the Chrysler Building, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt offers a unique immersive experience. The observatory is over 330m high and spread across three floors. It has an entirely glassed-in part plus a terrace with a 360° view of New York. You'll be able to admire the city's major landmarks including the Chrysler Building, the Empire State Building, Times Square, and Bryant Park.
You'll also be able to enjoy various attractions, notably the artistic "Air" experience, where all your senses will be put to the test. You'll enter a huge glass room with high ceilings covered with mirrors. This attraction blends light and sound, and will immerse you in a multitude of reflections for an alternative view of New York City.
The "Levitation"experience will take you into an all-glass overhang where you'll feel like you're standing in a void; you'll feel like you're levitating.
You'll also have access to the "After" bar/cafe , a high-up garden at Summit One Vanderbilt with a breathtaking view of New York City. This terrace is a relaxing and calm place from which to observe buzzing New York City below. The bar/restaurant offers a 100% New York menu created by the famous restaurateur, Danny Meyer.
