Description

Set off on a sensational adventure on the via ferrata at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu in Quebec City!

The via ferrata, from the Italian word for "railway", is a course built on a rock face, allowing you to climb easily and safely. 

Located between the sea, mountains and forest, the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu hotel and its surroundings are a perfect place for anyone looking for adventure!

After being briefed on the rules, you will climb the rock face, which is over 500 metres long. You will advance using this cable system, which allows you to explore the feeling of the void with confidence.  

You will also have the opportunity to walk through the forest over monkey bridges and move through the air on a zip line. 

You will be in a breathtaking environment with a unique view of the St. Lawrence River and, if you are lucky, you may even see marine mammals.

  • Seasonal activity: from mid-May to mid-October only
  • Availability: weekends in mid-season / every day in high season*
  • Hours: 9:15 am and 1:15 pm

  • A minimum of 2 participants is required for this activity
  • This activity is not suitable for children under 6 years old, pregnant women, people with heart problems, back problems or who have recently undergone surgery
  • Children between the ages of 7 and 10 may encounter difficulties in some areas
  • The operator may decide not to go ahead with the activity under adverse weather conditions (thunderstorm, snowstorm, high winds or any other condition that endangers the facilities and participants). If this is the case, you will have the choice of moving the day of your activity or obtaining a refund
  • Please bring closed toe, comfortable shoes and clothes suitable for the weather
  • We advise you to bring a nutritious snack and a bottle of water (in a backpack)
