Discover the highlights of the Golden Circle and ride the Langjökull glacier on a snowmobile day trip from Reykjavík!
After travelling from Reykjavík aboard a comfortable minibus, you'll set off on a day trip to explore the Golden Circle.
Your first stop will be at the Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its unique geological features. The park is located between the two tectonic plates of Eurasia and North America. You'll have ample time to admire the impressive cliffs.
Go on to Geysir, which lent its name to the gushing hot springs. The geyser erupts every 4 to 10 minutes, so we can guarantee you won't miss the show. Next, time for a stop at the 32-metre Gullfoss waterfall where you can savour a much-deserved lunch break.
In the early afternoon, head to the Langjökull glacier, which is also known as the 'White Glacier'. Get acquainted with your equipment and then set off on your snowmobile tour. Your guide will be by your side as your explore the vast landscapes of Langjökull, from abundant ice to volcanic rock.
When the day is over, you'll drive back to Reykjavík .
