Attend a performance of Vivaldi's most famous work "The Four Seasons" in the heart of Rome!
The Opera e Lirica Academy in Rome performs the most famous work of the composer and violinist Vivaldi: "The Four Seasons" in the Palazzo Carpegna or Chiesa Evangelica Metodista. Inspired by the relationship between man and nature, this work is considered one of the greatest masterpieces of classical music.
Violins, pianos and other instruments take you on a journey through the four seasons. Listen carefully, and you will recognise the sound of a noisy summer thunderstorm, an autumn shower or the sound of birdsong in early spring.
This concerto includes a great variety of melodies, sometimes joyful and sometimes disturbing and jerky, like a palette of emotions.
