Your guide will meet you in central Catania. You'll start by going to Piazza Stesicoro where you can admire the Roman amphitheatre.
You'll then walk along Via dei Crociferi. It's home to numerous churches and is considered one of the most beautiful baroque streets in Italy. You'll also see Villa Cerami and the Arch of San Benedetto.
After that you'll head to Piazza Università home to the majestic Palazzo Centrale dell'Università. You'll then go to Piazza Vincenzo Bellini, known for its Teatro Massimo, before arriving in Piazza del Duomo where the city's emblematic elephant "u liotru" is located.
Finally, you'll pass by a famous fishmonger's and arrive at Ursino Castle. Today it's home to the Catania Civic Museum.
