Description

Experience Carnival in Venice during the time of Casanova!

Upon arrival at the Palace of Prisoners, your actor-guide will be waiting at the entry to the building. They will then plunge you into the legends and history of Casanova's time in Venice. To begin your time travel, you must first put on the handmade Venetian mask offered at the entry.

Visitors will learn how to dance the minuet, a traditional baroque dance from the 1700's. There will also be Venetian pastries, such as Galani and Frittelle, accompanied by a glass of champagne and the chance to experience some of the board games associamed with the Venetian Carnival.
