Description

Discover or rediscover the greatest works of Mozart and Strauss during a concert of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra in the Musikverein or at the Vienna Opera House!

 

The Vienna Mozart Orchestra was founded in 1986 and consists of 30 musicians, 2 soloists, and a conductor. Throughout the summer, they welcome you in the greatest concert halls of the Austrian capital to perform the works of the two most famous Austrian composers, Mozart and Strauss.

 

Depending on the day, you can enjoy the concert at the Musikverein, where the famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra performs on New Year''s Eve, or at the Vienna State Opera.

 

The musicians will perform the greatest works of both composers: the overtures and duets from Don Juan, The Magic Flute and The Marriage of Figaro, the 40th and 41st symphonies, Mozart''s piano, violin, and flute concertos, as well as Johann Strauss'' famous Blue Danube and Radetzky March.
